Join us and help save our starry skies
We are a not-for-profit social enterprise run entirely by volunteers, united in our passion to protect and restore the beauty of the starry sky to everyone in the UK
Light pollution is an environmental problem we can easily fix. For the price of a cup of coffee a month, your membership supports our public campaigns, event outreach, and educational materials. It also keeps our website running so we can directly answer public planning and light nuisance questions.
Why your membership matters:
- You help protect dark skies for future generations, giving wildlife, ecosystems, and people the darkness they need to thrive.
- You support policy change, smarter lighting, and on-the-ground action, amplifying the voice of the movement, showing politicians and corporations that the public cares.
As a member, you’ll also receive:
- Full access to members-only resources and advice, with news and updates about efforts to tackle light pollution by Dark Sky UK and our friends around the world.
- Opportunities to take part in events, citizen science, and campaigns.
Become a member today, or make a one-off donation, and join our family of passionate supporters. Together, we can bring back the stars.
